Colby Perkins Baseball

My name is Colby Perkins. I am a senior at Rising Sun High School in North East Maryland. I have a great interest to play Division II or Division III baseball while obtaining a degree in Mathematics.

I have a 3.84 GPA and an 1800 SAT score.

This Blog is designed to list my accomplishments, goals and a few brief examples of my baseball skills and personal achievements.

I have attended many camps and have played at all levels in my youth baseball career. I have been told I have natural outfielder instincts, and have proven to be selective contact hitter.

I look forward to hearing from you. You can reach me at Einouts@gmail.com or 443-350-3040.

Centerfield

I was a second baseman for 8 years, after one game of being asked to play center, I was hooked. Though in the early years, even coaches thought the outfield was a punishment, I still loved it. Knowing you are the difference between an out or a triple is what I thrive on. I feel my consistent efforts to improve my outfield skills, sets me apart from most of my peers. Its more than tracking a ball, or taking the correct first step. Its reading the pitcher and the batter, knowing tendencies, knowing the situation and where you are going once you rob the batter of the hit. Centerfield is the best place in the game.
